Puzzle Treasure Hunt Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to the Brain Tree Games "Puzzle Treasure Hunt" (the "Contest"). By participating in the Contest, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions (the "Terms"). Please read them carefully before participating.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
2.2. Employees, officers, and directors of Brain Tree Games, their immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, and children), and persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate.
2.3. By participating, you agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. How to Participate
3.1. Brain Tree Games will hide a number of small glass bottles containing a secret code at various locations across the USA.
3.2. Clues, GPS coordinates, and photos of the hidden bottles will be posted on the Brain Tree Games website.
3.3. Participants must locate the bottle, retrieve the secret code, and visit the Brain Tree Games website to submit the code as instructed.
3.4. Each participant may only submit one code per bottle. Multiple submissions of the same code by the same participant will be deemed invalid.
4. Prizes
4.1. Participants who find the bottle and submit the correct secret code will receive three free jigsaw puzzles from Brain Tree Games (the "Prize").
4.2. To claim the Prize, participants must contact Brain Tree Games via the website or email support@braintreegames.com with the secret code and their contact information.
4.3. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
4.4. Brain Tree Games reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the original Prize is unavailable.
5. Conduct
5.1. Participants agree to conduct themselves in a safe, respectful, and lawful manner while participating in the Contest.
5.2. Participants must not trespass on private property or violate any local, state, or federal laws in the course of participating in the Contest.
5.3. Brain Tree Games is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or legal issues that arise from participation in the Contest.
6. Privacy
6.1. Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and delivering Prizes.
6.2. Brain Tree Games will not share personal information with third parties without the participant's consent, except as required by law.
6.3. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to the collection and use of their personal information as described in Brain Tree Games' Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All content provided by Brain Tree Games, including but not limited to clues, coordinates, photos, and other materials, is the property of Brain Tree Games and is protected by intellectual property laws.
7.2. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Brain Tree Games is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the Contest.
8.2. Participants assume all risks associated with the Contest, including but not limited to those related to travel, outdoor activities, and interactions with other participants.
8.3. In no event shall Brain Tree Games be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Contest.
9. Disqualification
9.1. Brain Tree Games reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent or unsportsmanlike conduct, or otherwise attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
10.1. Brain Tree Games reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
10.2. Participants will be notified of any changes to the Terms via the Brain Tree Games website.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
11.2. Any legal action or proceeding relating to the Contest shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Virginia.
